Woven Wind Chime
Here is just a little woven wind chime I did so I could use some of my "fried marbles". I also made the copper bells and the hanger-but now I don't want to hang it outside and ruin it. I found a little space on a wall so I can look at it every day. I kinda like it-it makes me smile.

I love this piece. I would hang it on the outside of my bathroom door as a door harp and listen to it tinkle every time that door moves ... Great work ... so original and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT! I love the texture and the complete look of it.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of hanging it on the bathroom door.
Your fried marbles work great. Beautiful work.
I don't blame you for not wanting to put it outside! It is too pretty. I love the bells. What a great way to use fried marbles.
ReplyDeleteVery nice color combination in this piece. Of course, anything with orange in it catches my eye. I'm sure you'll enjoy it for a long time to come. Perhaps you could hang it in a window you visit often.
ReplyDeleteThat turned out so cool, I love to see how you combine your metal work with fiber, it looks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much everyone!
ReplyDeleteOk, I love those hand-made copper bells! I definitely wouldn't want to hang that outside. If you want to hear it as well as see it, maybe in front of the entryway door would work too?
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! It makes me think of exotic, faraway places.
ReplyDeleteIt's very pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me a little bit of a person.
