Rag bags



I just finished another rug. I really like making rugs. I found I can make smaller versions and turn them into bags. I really like the bags. Weaving is fun!

    The rugs are pretty but good golly, I'm loving the bags. I just got home from our Weaver's Guild Show and Tell night and I fell in love with all the woven bags.

    Hi - regarding my spring rose crochet and other flowers recently, I put them together on stems and made my mother a late mother's day crochet floral bouquet. It turned out great!     Thanks all--@Spinster Beth-too funny-but I'm thinking I'll use that for the new name of my bags-@AllyB-the size is about 13"x15". @Heather Woollove-good idea on the messenger bags-I"ve got loads of other ideas-not enough time.

    I, too love making rugs ... and bags, and those bags are awesome! Great alternatives to the grocery bags one can buy that are reusable but not washable. Love, love, love them.

    For a newbie weaver, what reed did you use and what would you recommend for the warp?
    I like the idea of making rag bags and I have cut up rags, just a little stumped on the above. Thanks for your help.
