I went with my friend Carol to the Spin in today. It was really nice. I only bought one skein of yarn made from corn fiber. We also went to the fiber/yarn "tasting" that was held in the evening. I tried several fibers and spun up some crazy art yarn. The coolest part was when I wanted to get a picture of the alpacas and they weren't cooperating-the owner took me in the pen, showed me how to hold one and I had Carol snap the picture. He was sooooo soft-and humming the whole time. His name is Iyata Supa. I didn't get he little brown one's name. It was an enjoyable afternoon and evening for sure.
