How to get things done

Well, one way to get a LOT of wool picking done is to go crazy and use the picker like a mad woman--like I did a couple weeks ago. I was having issues with some nasty pain that wouldn't let me relax. The only way to quell the pain was to keep moving. So I grabbed some wool and pushed and pulled that ol' picker for a few evenings in a row. Then the pain meds kicked in and I could finally relax. I got around to piling up the bags of wool and couldn't believe I got that much done. Whew!

  1. Kathi, you really got a lot done! How great it must feel to see that big mound of ready to use fiber! Jealous! What kind of picker do you use?

  2. Good for you. When I had the guild's picker, I had a deadline and was a madwoman getting it done...now it's nice to just reach in the picked fiber and start carding it. Hope you are feeling better.

  7. That is a whole bunch of wool! The red or pink or orange or whatever shade is very nice. Looks like you're going to be busy for awhile.
