I'm feeling a bit blue these last couple of days. I decided to sell my floor loom due to some financial "woes". She hopefully is enjoying her new home somewhere in Minnesota. I felt like I was selling one of my children, Weird. So, to help me move on, I warped up my rigid heddle loom to weave along to the pool party theme with the Saori weaving group on Ravelry. I've only just gotten started. It'll be a scarf-just kind of wild and crazy. A mood "picker-upper", I hope.

Ooooh, your weaving looks lovely. I sure hope it cheers you up. May your loom bring happiness and beautiful Finished objects to it's new owner.
ReplyDeleteYour weaving is beautiful!! I'm so glad you still have the rigid heddle loom so that you can weave. I don't know what I'd do without at least one loom (and I don't even own a floor loom yet).
ReplyDeleteOh sad... but I'm sure she will be very happy in her new home.
ReplyDeleteYour current weaving looks like a lot of fun.
That looks really interesting. It is difficult to part with some things, especially things that help you create beautiful things. I'm in the process of selling one of my wheels to help pay for this new laptop and I feel like some kind of traitor. I'm sure when I have that extra space in my office I won't feel so bad...
